IMBA Trail Building School
I would like to let everyone know about a great opportunity for people to learn about building sustainable trails. On September 25th, IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association) will be coming to Spokane to host a free Trailbuilding school. Please feel free to spread the word about this event to anyone you know who may be interested!
Trailbuilding School combines both classroom and field instruction in a fun learning environment. Learn from top-notch instructors how to build sustainable multi-use trails. Since 1997, the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew has taught more than 150,000 people. Some of the topics covered include trail design, trail reroutes and trail reclamation.
Trailbuilding school begins at 9AM on September 25th at Mountain Gear Headquarters: 6021 E Mansfield Ave, Spokane Valley. After the classroom portion, everyone will head to Beacon Hill to do hands-on trail work for the field instruction portion. For more information please visit www.fttrc.org.
This is a great way to develop skilled trail workers and trailwork leaders! If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
